A great DIY kit for your Duramax!

The turbo exhaust housing comes from BorgWarner with Marmon flange not hx40 flange that the downpipe has, you can machine the Marmon to hx40 size ( 4.2" to hx40: 4.00") or we can have them cut it for $100 extra. 

 

Utilizing the latest generation aerodynamics, billet EFR compressor wheels, and uprated 360 degree thrust assemblies, the all new 'SX-Enhanced' turbos redefine performancem durability and value for modern turbochargers. This 66mm inducer is the updated replacement for the legendary "S366" and is the second largest turbo in the S300SXE family - capable of 850+hp.

BW engineers started with their 91mm EFR9180 compressor wheel design, trimmed to 72% and 66mm for an airflow rate of 94lb/min. This all new wheel is packaged in a purpose built SXE compressor housing with ported-shroud inlet and speed sensor port. It is paired with a traditional Airwerks 80mm Inconel turbine and flexible housing options. Smaller overall dimensions than the EFR9180 and higher airflow rates make this an excellent match for high-boost and high-power applications. Oil-Cooled Journal Bearing only.

  • I have a 05 lly does this work with the stock lly hot pipe and Intake bridge?

    Your stock hot side should be able to be reused. the stock bridge will still work fine.

  • Can you guys switch out the s366 for as369 in this kit ? And also is the hx40 machining needed for it to fit on my lb7 Duramax ?

    I just listed this same kit with the SXE369 Charger, You will need HX40 machining for downpipe to fit correctly.

  • Does this charger come with a billet wheel? Also, all that is missing from this kit is an intake, right? Thanks.

    Yes it does, and you will need intake, and hot side intercooler tube

  • How tall is the pedestal, and how much boost do these run?

    4 inch tall pedestal with this, boost depends on fueling somewhat, 30-40 psi is a practical range.

  • What is used on the turbo mouth piece for an LB7?

    You would need a mouthpiece, we have used a 90 deg 3.5" or 4" pipe in the past. You can actually just cut the 3 bolt flange off a 3.5" lb7 turbo horn and use a 3.5" to 4" silicone coupler and that will fit properly.

  • Is this turbo wastegated at all?

    No it is not

  • Will this fit an lb7?

    Yes it will fit LB7

  • What exactly are the differences between exhaust houses? Do they all bolt up to stock with the plate adapter In the kit?

    The .88 will spool faster than the 1.00, the .91 is the most common size. Yes they all bolt up with the adapter in the kit.
